Three of Houston’s leading design societies—ASID, IDS, and NKBA—are joining forces for a special collaborative event that celebrates design, craftsmanship, and community, all in support of our furry friends' welfare.

For this unique initiative, three architects have partnered with designers from each society to conceptualize and create one-of-a-kind custom dog beds. Each design will be professionally built by ALAIR Homes, whose generous commitment has made it possible to bring these creative visions to life. The finished pieces will be unveiled and auctioned to raise funds for BARC, Houston’s Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care,Design Teams Include:

  • ASID with Ken Newberry, Newberry Architects
  • IDS with Greg Swedberg, 2Scale Architects
  • NKBA with Mark Bufalini, Collaborative Design Group

We invite our clients—past, present, and future—along with designers, architects, and members of the Houston design community to join us for the unveiling celebration:
